Ministry Review

The Ministry Review is stage 3 of the Volunteer Pipeline. This is the stage where potential volunteers are presented to ministry leaders/staff for review. Typically, this is the stage where interviews/auditions are held. Additionally, this is a good stage to find out what schedules work best for each volunteer.

Tip! If you are responsible for a volunteer position, this stage appears in the My Tasks panel on the Home page of Fellowship One. Simply sign in to see if you have any volunteers ready to go through a ministry review. Simply click the ministry name to display your Ministry Review queue.

To conduct a ministry review

  1. Click People > Volunteer Pipeline > Ministry Review. The Ministry Review queue is displayed. Ensure that the ministry displayed in the box at the top of the screen is the correct ministry for the volunteer application you want to work with.
  2. Select the volunteer application to work with from the Application drop-down list.
  3. Optionally, select a specific job from the Opportunity drop-down. Alternatively, select Show All to display all job opportunities for the selected application.
  4. Click the Notes link beside any name to review notes made in the prior stage of the Pipeline.
  5. Contact the person and conduct your interview or determine their availability to volunteer. Use the Notes link to record additional details about this application or the job (remember that these notes are only available through reports after the individual has left the Pipeline).
  6. Optionally, clear the check box beside any of the selected jobs. This drops the individual out of the Pipeline for the selected job.
  7. Click Submit to move the individual to the next stage of the Pipeline.

Clicking Submit moves the individual to stage 4 of the Pipeline: Verify Requirements. If you have implemented automated background check processing (an add on service) any background check requirement is automatically sent to the background check processing company. Once completed, results will display in the individual's record and in People > Volunteer Pipeline > Background Checks.
